XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS PPF is warranted for 10 years. With proper care it can last the life of the vehicle. The film is self-healing — minor scratches disappear on their own with heat.
No — XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS is formulated with a proprietary top coat that resists yellowing, staining, and hazing. Older generation films had this problem; modern XPEL film does not.
It depends on the package. A standard bumper/hood install typically takes 1–2 days. A full body wrap can take 3–5 days. We'll give you a precise timeline when you schedule.
Yes — PPF can be safely removed without damaging the underlying paint, provided the paint is in good condition. We recommend having it removed professionally.
PPF is a physical film that absorbs impacts and prevents chips and scratches. Ceramic coating is a chemical layer that repels water, dirt, and UV rays and adds gloss. They complement each other — many customers do both.
Yes — XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS PPF comes with a 10-year manufacturer's warranty against yellowing, cracking, peeling, and hazing. The warranty is transferable to a new owner, which adds resale value to your vehicle. Our ceramic coating and window tint installations are also backed by XPEL's product warranty.
We handle all prep in-house — your car will be thoroughly washed and decontaminated before installation begins. That said, if your vehicle has fresh bird droppings, tree sap, or heavy dirt, a basic wash beforehand is appreciated. Do not apply any wax or sealant before your appointment as it can interfere with film adhesion.
For PPF, we recommend waiting at least 7 days before washing and 30 days before using an automated car wash. For ceramic coating, avoid washing for 7 days to allow full curing. After that, hand washing or a touchless wash is always preferred to protect your investment.
PPF protects paint — it doesn't repair it. Existing chips, scratches, or swirl marks will still be visible under the film. We recommend addressing any paint correction before installation. We can assess your vehicle's paint condition during your consultation and advise accordingly.
